Lenses and reflectors

One of the stages of module design is choosing, which optical system offered by a wide range of LED will be the best considering requirements of the Client. We offer innovative optical solutions whenever possible. We adjust the LED module to facilitate an easy and ergonomic installation of chosen lenses or reflectors.

Cooling

We take active part in designing heat dissipation of a LED modules and produce them in way allowing for an optimal heat transfer efficiency. Most modules have aluminium bases and can be fixed to an external heat sink. We use passive and active cooling methods and thermal protection.

Connections

Good connections are one of the key elements of a LED module. Their quality influences the longevity and the correct operation of the LED luminaire. Our modules feature a wide range of connectors from top manufacturers selected for the highest connection reliability.

Mechanics

Custom-made LED modules can come in any shape and can have any mechanical parameters. They can be made to fit the existing luminaires, but they also and allow construction of luminaires with unusual shapes. In 2008 LEDIKO became a certified CREE partner in designing and manufacturing LED modules equipped with CREE diodes. Over the years we have expanded our cooperation with the producers such as LG, Samsung, Osram, Lumileds, Seoul Semiconductor, Nichia and others.

Power supply

Most LED modules are designed and equipped with systems responsible for delivering correct power to the LED diodes. Modules are adjusted to meet the input values required by the Client. LED diodes are powered with a proper electrical current.

LED diodes

Our modules use diodes from the whole CREE product range. Our job is to choose a LED diode optimal for the given project, not just meeting the technical parameters, but also cost-optimised. We monitor and update our designs constantly, introducing new generations of LED diodes.

Protection

LED modules designed by LEDIKO are equipped with a number of electronic safety systems, safeguarding the LED diodes from any factors that may interfere with their proper operation. These systems include thermal protection, protection against reversed polarity, protection against excessive voltage or current power, or electric discharge (ESD) protection.

Advanced LED modules are equipped with programmable electronic systems (microcontrollers) controlling operation of the LED modules and allowing adjusting them to the requirements of a given application. Various modes of illumination, remote communication, or ageing compensation are just some of the possibilities available.
