LightTools is a unique optical engineering and design software product that combines virtual prototyping, simulation, optimisation, and photorealistic renderings of lamp fittings and optical systems. The software is using 3D modeling technology. Precise computations of light simulation as it traverse through and within optical elements and mechanical structures, are assured thank to the Monte Carlo methodology. Every user has certainty, that lighting system (or lamp fitting) made on basis of models carried out with help of LightTools software, will give light distribution that is close to simulated virtual prototype. It enables to save time and money, that are spent on production of prototypes.
Detailed offer of lighting projects:
On basis of informations received from Customer, we are preparing:
-
Realistic virtual model of lamp fitting
-
Realistic virtual model of sources of light: filament, discharge and LED diodes
-
Illumination: internal, external, special illuminate systems
In case, when virtual model of lamp was prepared in CATIA, STEP, SAT or IGES format, there is a possibility to import the geometry, we can insert the proper source of light and perform the proper simulations, based on Monte Carlo methodology.
We are offering the whole range of output data for performed simulation (also for virtual models prepared by us):
-
Luminous intensity curve
-
Illuminance contribution
-
Luminance contribution
-
Colorimetry data
Luminous intensity curves can be exported to IES format - that enables the cooperation with well known software used for light systems simulations, for example Dialux.
Finished model can be exported to following formats: IGES, STEP, SAT, CATIA.
We can optimize the model according to client's expectations:
-
Improving of model's geometry
-
Improving of model's efficiency
-
Improving oflight intensity contribution
We can prepare the photoreal image of the model.
On every project we are working individually or with our clients engineers.
