Take a look at the history of the foundation and development of the LEDIKO company.
September 2, 2004, two graduates of the Faculty of Electronics Wroclaw University of Technology: Adam Wilanowski and Piotr Walendowski founded a company LEDIKO specializing in designing and manufacturing LED lighting.
LEDIKO headquarters has been located in Wroclaw Technology Park, were LEDIKO has access to modern laboratories and well-equipped technology labs. From the beginning the company was focused on the introduction of comprehensive, reliable and innovative LED solutions and products.
In autumn 2010 LEDIKO was selected by the editors of the monthly English-speaking Polish Market for the prestigious Cent for Future award, in category "Polish Market Hope 2005". Awards ceremony took place at the Royal Castle in Warsaw on 10th December 2004.
In November 2004 LEDIKO, as the first company in Poland, began offering XLamp high power LEDs manufactured by a reputable company CREE.
In December 2004 LEDIKO became a distributor of U.S. company ETG, producing high-quality LEDs. Thus LEDIKO gained access to the new technologies to implement LED projects with a high degree of sophistication that meet stringent quality requirements.
In autumn 2005 LEDIKO provided XLamp LEDs that have been used for dynamic illumination of one of the highest buildings in Warsaw - Marriott Hotel. To this day it is a showcase of reliability CREE XLamp LEDs (all LEDs still work).
In December 2005 LEDIKO successfully designed and implemented a prototype of the LED module to be used in a futuristic LED street lamp. In that prototype were applied 96 high power LEDs and unique optical solution.
2005-2008 was a period of intensive development and gaining experience. In this time LEDIKO developed series of universal LED modules with CREE XLamp LEDs (LUMO, MEGA, LEDIS). A number of advanced projects has been made on the basis of individual orders from manufacturers of lighting (general lighting, architectural, decorative, signaling, industrial, diving, medical, railway and other).
Since 2006 LEDIKO has intensified its cooperation with U.S. company CREE - manufacturer of high quality high power LEDs. At the same time LEDIKO has also established cooperation with well-known producers of software: CadSoft and Optical Research Associates.
In autumn 2006 LEDIKO designed and delivered LED modules, which were used to illuminate the exhibits Museum of Amber in Gdansk. This was one of the first installation with the high power LEDs made on such a large scale in Polish museums.
The year 2007 marked an important stage in the history of LEDIKO. For the period up to early 2010 the company was the official representative of Optical Research Associates in Poland.
In early 2008 LEDIKO obtained the prestigious status of CREE LED Solution Provider. This status is awarded to experienced and recommended designs and solutions providers that use power LEDs from CREE.
In April 2008 LEDIKO successfully presented its products and services at the largest international trade fairs Light & Building in Frankfurt.
In the first half of 2008 LEDIKO started cooperation with the automotive industry by designing and supplying LED modules used in the production of modern daytime running lights.
In the first quarter of 2009 LEDIKO designed and supplied the LED modules for dynamic RGB illumination of Wroclaw Multimedia Fountain. The fountain is one of the largest in Europe. Since its release, the fountain has become one of the main tourist attractions of Wroclaw that is one of the Polish biggest cities.
In September 2009 LEDIKO introduced a new brand LEDIKO PRO (www.ledikopro.eu) and organized the premiere of Intelligent LED Street Lamp CLEVEO at the ENERGETAB trade fairs.
In October 2009 LEDIKO received nomination for Lower Silesia Griffin - Business Award in the category "Business up to 50 people".
In November 2009 "Intelligent LED Street Lamp CLEVEO" manufactured by LEDIKO won the first prize in the 11th edition of the Clean Business competition in the category of "Innovative Product".
In February 2010 LEDIKO as one of three Polish companies received a nomination for the European edition of the Business for the Environment competition in the category of "Product".
In April 2010 LEDIKO the second time presented its products and services at the Light & Building fairs in Frankfurt. The main emphasis was placed on the LED Street Lamp CLEVEO, which was the main attraction of the stand.
In July 2010 LEDIKO became one of the thirteen leaders GreenEvo - Ministry of Environment project for Polish companies creating solutions based on innovative green technologies.
